Looking for a Supercharger for 04 GT!
I am looking to buy a Supercharger system for my 04 Mustang GT. 5 Speed Manual tranny. I am wondering what you all have used and what works well and what kind of power gains am I looking at? What else will I need with it or do you recommend with it?

Something that has been proven to be safe reliable power is the vortech s-trim kit pushing 8psi. http://www.modularfordpowerhouse.com has done hundreds of kits on 99+ gt's making good power and not one has blown that I am aware of.
Also, I have removed your avatar as it was not quite site appropriate.

A bunch of grown men in here and a woman's half butt is not appropriate????? Come on now. She wasn't naked or anything. Oh well....
Thanks for the info guys. I appreciate it any information that you can spare. I am new to the whole idea of upgrading, so I am slowly learning.

This is a family site which has hundreds of veiwers of people of both genders and across all ages. We intend to keep it clean. If you wish to continue the issue further, please PM me.

I like this site because it is so clean, great job to al the Mods and Brad
Anyways, The vortechs pull ok power, but the KB pulls more, as does the Procharger. The KB makes some nice power. The vortech stinks IMO because it uses a oil tap from the oil pan unlike the KB and Procharger. a turbo would also be a great idea. They make more power.
Depends on what you are after...where you want the power etc. Roots/Screw for low end grunt immediately or a Centrifugal higher up in the powerband. I have only driven roots/screw cars so I can't comment on the centi. Can't beat a roots sound imho!

Thanks for all of your information guys. When the time comes to buy one, I think it will be the Kenne Bell. I like having the low end torque, take off power.

Hey Matt, Scott gave us both some odd c/ts
Be forewarned when it comes to supercharging- any minor flaw in an engine that might not be detected will more than likely be magnified when any power adder is applied. That goes for turbos, nitrous, and yes, superchargers!
In other words, if you knew someone that blew their engine with a poweradder, don't jump to the conclusion that it was the fault of the manufacturer.
ps- finding the right person to install and tune your new toys could mean the difference between life and death for your engine
