in the spring, when i get the heads taken out, im going to have them ported and polished. im just wondering if im going to have to do anything to the computer after that happens? i've also heard that the 94-95 comps. aren't to great with add-ons?

I think a simple port and polish would still work fine with the stock ECU. Although tweaking through a chip or something would definitely help you get the best out of it.

what kind of chip would be the best for my cobra? i dont really know what brand people trust the most? what would anyone recommend?

I recommend http://www.bamachips.com for all my tuning. Doug904 on this forum is the owner of bamachips and does an amazing job. Talk to him and if he can't help, he should be able to reocmmend someone who can
