Intake plenum and EGR gaskets

Do I need gasket sealant or silicone when replacing my upper intake plenum gasket and my EGR valve gasket? I have to remove my upper intake plenum to change my PCV valve

Not sure about the torque specs but when i was mounting the bracket that holds the trottle cable i snapped on of the bolts off. Be careful, not too tight.

I have a really fine brush and polishing wheels for my Dremil. They have some deposits around the openings and I'd like to clean them up before putting them back on
