Here's a little/short video with really bad sound, but you'll get the idea. I used my camera, because I can't import from my camcorder without degrading the picture too much.

Way to go with the Stingers.
Nice tips, small mufflers...cheaper
How's it volumewise compared to the stock system?
I've never heard stingers up close, but they sound more aggressive and louder (on tape)

At idle inside the car, you don't even notice them. At idle cruise outside the car, they have a nice little burble I didn't have before.
At cruise inside the car (windows up), you don't really notice them -- which is a good thing for me. No drone. At cruise outside with windows down, you can hear the burble and they defintely sound louder.
At take off they sound great -- a low deep rumble. Have the muscle car burble on deceleration as well. At WOT they just get LOUD -- really loud. Which is good too.
I relate it to "controlled fury" ... If I want them to get massively loud, they will. If I don't want to draw too much attention, they don't (though defintely more than the Stock system on the Mach).
Also, I don't have an exact weight savings, but they are noticably lighter then the stock system as well. As far as seat of the pants (The DynoPants) -- it feels a bit stronger down low, but that could also be the placebo effect.
I couldn't be more please with the set-up currently (Borla -- With the stock H in place). I highly reccommend it to anyone that is looking to replace there stock system.

Yeah, Borla's make sound when you WANT them to...and can cruise by at normal sounds when you want...they are beauties for that....
The Stingers are a WAY smaller mufller than the normal ford ones.
And the tips look GREAT! Not the phantom intercooled tips that I have (shorties...not my personal fav)
Borla's are known for some nice performance gaines, and theres no doubt that you have some of that.
As for sound...the stock mach is louder compared to a GT stock system...so I would assume the Stingers are a REALLY nice change.
And yes, its hard to gauge, cause Borla's interior sound is nice, but still not nearly as loud as exterior...

Looks good and sounds great!
I'm still enjoying the newness of the sound on my Mach (which is great), but I think the Borla will be my choice when the mod bug bites me

I think I've quelched it for now.

JefferyDJ - Let me first say you have an awesome looking car!
I recently got the same Borla hook-up (w/a couple other exhaust mods). I Love'em! Unique, mean, aggressive sound and @ WOT it's just wickedly polite.

JefferyDJ - no pictures of the Stingers yet. At least not on the car.
If anyone is interested in what these look like, (from the factory) I did post pics over at StangNet when I first received mine:

One of the most frustrating things pre-purchase was finding good pictures of what the entire cat-back looked like.
Did you hang your own JefferyDJ?

Someone asked me if they were chambered. I asked 'em where they thought the chambers would be. There isn't any room!
It's amazing what a little stainless steel and ceramic will do.
