Where is a good hood to be found for my 03 Stang.

I do not like the fake scoop on my hood.

The rear nostral type on some earlier stangs look good.

 

I kinda like the clean look of the hood on the 99-01 Cobra and 03-04 V-6.

hmmm, thats the sn-95 cobra hood, and I dont know if the 94-98 hoods will bolt on to the 99+ cars. I'm not sure, but I dont think it will work.

 

The 94-98 hoods will not work. You can find some hoods that look similar to that and will work on a 99+. My favorite 99+ hood is the 2000R hood though. It looks amazing.

How many folks out there have changed their hood, and why?

I for one want a lower profile hood without a fake scoop getting in the way.

 

The 00R hood is my all time favorite also, but the bulge wont be lo pro. My 2nd fav is the 03-04 cobra hood. If I hadnt bought the cobra, its the hood i would have chosen, as it vents heat better.

 

I say go for this one, the Mach II.

 

I like the 03 Cobra hood. I like the other one better though. As good as the 05 is beginning to look to me, I may not pull the trigger on anything until I test drive one of those babies. B)
