I need your input!

hey everyone
i have an 01 gt and im looking to start upgrading it in a couple months
moneys not too much of an issue with me
im thinking about installing a magnaflow exhaust system with a high flow intake
sometime after that i would like to supercharge it
if i s/c it then would i need a new block?
after that im not sure where to look
in the end im looking to have my car up to around 450-500 hp
any suggestions on what i should do?
thanks!

Well on a 2v you can supercharge your car and get about 400rwhp safley without causing and potential premature failure. but if you go over 450rwhp you are going to want to start upgrading things like rods, pistons, cam. as for exaust. check out youtube. they have every kinda of video over there. WWW.lethalperformance.com they have a great selection of superchargers for our cars.

longtubes and pretty much any S/C kit will get you 400rwhp which is around 470hp so it fits in your 450-500 unless you are talking whp.

Cams, pistons and rods. your looking at about $2250 + installation. hp wise it sucks for us because we have 2v heads and they dont flow very well. so probably 280 RWHP thats with a good dyno tune.
Yes it would, thats AFTER you get Better internals. you can get the kenne bell now and only run 5-8 psi to not kill the motor and then get the pistons etc.
it all comes down to how much you want to spend, if you want to spend more than 10k, you should've gotten a mach 1 or cobra.

Suggested mods in order of importance:

Aftermarket shifter....I suggest Steeda Tri-ax

Full length subframe connectors (a must have)

Cobra/Bullit Brakes and stainless brake lines

Rear Upper and Lower control arms...I like Steeda's (Aluminum..lightweight)

Lowering springs...I like Ford Racing "C" springs

If you lower your car you have to have Caster/Camber Plates, Offset rack bushings,Steeda Bumpsteer kit and Steeda X2 ball joints. Don't learn the hard way like me and ruin a good set of tires because I didn't do it right from the beginning.

Front strut tower brace

Aluminum driveshaft

Now you are ready for more power, the 4.6 loves a Supercharger.

well johnny 5(short cicut reference)...i would definately look into exhaust and intake first, easy gains there, but you may want to go with lightwieght driveshaft, shifter, better brakes, make a close inspection of any other driveline parts that may need repairs or minor upgrades, then look into power adders, really it all comes down to how much time you want to invest into a car

johnny 5 always wanted "input" for those who are lost...im stupid..lol

also
if i had a s95.. i would love this http://www.jmsproductsinc.com/
