There was a '69 Boss 429 on ebay for $9,000. 23 hours left, no bids, and no reserve. I checked on it an hour later and it was gone. I wish I had thought about it and saved the page.
Shoot, if I could hook up a Boss 429 for that, I'd drive it for a week, spin the tires, sell it, and buy a bigger house. I wouldn't feel comfortable with a $100,000 car in my drive anyway.

nah... ive bought and sold 1 car on ebay and bought a motorcycle on there too. My dad has probably bought 5 cars on there. I should have never got him started on it...
as with everything if it sounds way too good to be true it is. use common sense.

Nah, you'd be stupid to bid on ebay for a car like that period, and stupid is an understatement, let alone at a price like that. Kinda makes you wonder what was going on there. Did the person miss a zero, or were they housesitting for an uncle/aunt or something and tried to peddle his/her baby while s/he was gone hense the 24 hr auction, or did the car even exist. (a VIN was listed but that doesn't mean anything.)
I've bought a lot of auto-related items on ebay and it's like anything else. If the deal seems too good to be true...
