Hi I am getting ready to paint a 95 gt and was wondering if any one had an easy way to remove the stick on emblems with out causeing any damage to the body work or leaving too much of a goey mes behind. Ant tricks or tips would be great. I plan on buying all new embles for it so saving them is not a problem.

Use a hair dryer to soften it up then use a piece of fishing line and run it behind the emblem. You could probably peel it off with your hand if it gets soft enough. A little bit of alcohol will take off the glue.

Yup. It also helps if its a warm day to park it in the sun for just a bit, then get the hair dryer after it.

What has been mentioned above plus use hot water with car wash in it and a rag to remove any alcohol residue.
