Just curious as to how many 99-01 GT owners are the original owner? I only used 99-01 due to the relative newness of 02-04's

I'm the original owner of mine(56,000+ miles), most people have moved on(sold/traded/etc.) to something else since they bought a 99-01.

 

85,791 miles on my '01 and still going strong!

I like the sound of the stock exhaust; I can't imagine it being any louder, especially considering how much ambient noise there already is in a convertible. I've got a chin spoiler I need to install, but first I need to have some imperfections in the bumper taken care of.

Can't say I'm the original owner of my '99 but I can say I will be the last. Its mine and all mine!!!!

 

The real story is that he rode in my cobra (magnaflows, o/r H-pipe) and the '00 GT (magnaflows, o/r VRS X-pipe) and the sound levels scared him

Btw, I got the cobra while I had the GT and ended up trading the GT in with 65k on it.

What is so special about the 99-01? the 99-00 had no scoop and it had clear lights, and they didnt offer bullit wheels. The 01-04 they did. So wouldnt it make more sense to have a 99-00 thread?
