I was visiting my girlfriend 3.5 hours away from me. I was driving her to work and I saw it. 2004, Competition Orange, GT Mustang with a full load. Normally that wouldn't be anything special except it's the first Competition Orange mustang I have seen here. EVER. Drove it, love it ... got it for below cost . Getting pictures tomorrow.

I just didn't see any reason to refuse. I got it below cost, it is the car that I have dreamed about literally. First Competition Orange I have ever seen and it's the only one in western Canada (on the lots) right now. Not sure how many were sold. Of course all of this is subject to financing and what not. So hopefully that all goes though. I'm just so impressed that the dealership is going to HeliJet me back to pick the car up .

Nice!

I haven't noticed the molding in the center of the door. Is that new for '04 on GT's?

My Mach doesn't have that molding.

The molding is an option on the GT's. Car looks great, have fun. The first thing I would get is the black molding for the front ala Mach 1.

The body side moulding is an option as stated before (I guess it's for protection from door dints), and the only option that I know of that this car doesn't have is the MACH 1000, it has the 460. With gas prices the way they are going it's a debate for sure. If this car was silver I wouldn't be buying it. It is the colour that made it the deciding factor. So now there is a '99 '01 '03 and hopefully an '04 in the 'family' (my crew of friends).

Anything I should know as a potential new stang owner that I might not know yet ?

All you need to know is to take care and baby that hot car. I love the Competition Orange also. I have been waiting for years for Ford to bring back a color like that or the Calypso Coral. Really makes the body lines "pop". Enjoy the car to the max.

Also, try to convinve your girlfriend that you do, if fact, still love her!!! She might think the Muzzy's buttons are easier to press!!!! The last thing you want is a shiny pony and a pissed girl (they clash.....#)
