Hello everyone.

I have an 04 mach 1, black, and when i bought it some moron at the dealer it was ordered from thought it was a good idea to screw there dealer plate to the front bumper. Due to this there are now two holes where you it was screwed on. I was wondering if anyone knows of little black plugs you can buy to pop in there. The holes don't really bother me, however, I would like to see some time of plug in there. Thanks.

Yuck man, I know how you feel, luckily I was able to stop that madness on my 2 Stangs. Heres what you do. Go to AutoZone or whatever auto parts store you have there. Get the the license plate bolt covers and use those. They come with the clear plastic inserts and snap over the cover bolt. They make the covers in black so you are in luck. That will give you the finishing touch you are looking for.

If that doesn't work, or is too pronounced for you , check the hardware Isle at Home deopt or Lowe's the should have a selection of plastic plugs that have very low profile, smooth heads. They kind of look like a screw, but instead of threads they have flanges that when pushed through the hole will hold the plug in place.
Take a few minutes and browse the isle you should be able to find them.

When our license plate law changed here, so we did not need a front plate, I was stuck in the same problem. To solve it, I bought 2 small carrage bolts, and painted the to match the bumper. It turned out better than expected, as you can only notice them, if you are a few feet from the front bumber of the car. Anything farther than that, they just blend in. (The car is dark green, BTW, so that may help.)
