Help, remove license plate anchors

I just registered my pony in Florida where there is no front plate requirement. So now with the removal of my old front plate I have these two ugly black plastic anchors protruding out of my front bumper. How do I get those out?

They snap in. You can remove with a pair of pliers from behind

I'm pretty sure mustang front license plates just screw into the covers when you take off your license plate it leaves at least 2 holes you can get them filled but then you'd have to have it painted or if the have it has anchors which some times they do you should be able to push in on 2 sides and pry up a little and they should pop out but that is a shot in the dark until there is a pic I can't be 100 percent.
