Help 1999 GT stallin
K so my dad has a 1999 GT and it ran fineuntil tonight after work it starts but misses and quits its not showin any codes my dad thinks its the fuel filter and i dont have a clue what it is so someone please give some insight

Are you getting a check engine light?? Some quick things you should check is to make sure all sensors and coils are plugged in it sounds ridiculous but I can't tell you how many times I ran into situations where it was a loose connection

Yep we replaced the filter and started on the stands and it ran but dad tried to rev it and it cut out but didnt quit it ran because it was forcing the gas to the engine when it was at an angle so then we thought we had fixed it but then we shut it off and put it back down on the ground and it dont start so a flatbed truck is coming tomarrow morning when im at school and its going to one of my dads friends' shop because my dad is too chicken to do it himself because you have to lower the gas tank... ( me and dad are like brothers but 36 years apart lol )

We had it done and he said that he did it and we were lucky that it didnt catch fire because the wires had melted but he replaced it and now she runs and purs but now it seems alil quieter
