Headers and a mid pipe ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

So I've been doing some research on bbk long tube headers on American muscle and a bbk catted x mid pipe. Around 700 bucks. Claims for 20 rwhp. Are these claims true? Would you actually feel the difference ? Or is all this worth it? It's for a 94 gt

Yes, the above claims are 100% true. A Set of long tube headers and an O/R X-pipe are definitely going to net gains of 20+ RWHP! You're going to feel and hear a big difference over your stock set up. This is one of the best mods you can do for the SOHC 2 valves! IMO, just the tone of your exhaust after long tubes is worth the install.

If you want to see even larger gains, you may want to think about getting a Bama Custom tune as well. This will really help tie all of your mods together! We can also turn off your rear o2 sensors so that you don't get a CEL.

I hope this helps! Hit me up if you have any questions or need some assistance in the near future.

Half the gains are made by removing the 8 factory cats.

neither the x pipe or long tube are catted. The mid pipe with a cat is almost two hundred dollars more. Do I need the cats? or would two mufflers to the trick? I'm not sure if I would get pulled over for being too "loud"

Oh yeah depends on your location, we don't have a smog test so I never worried about cats.

He said its a 94 which would have the 5.0 OHV push rod engine not the SOHC 4.6, nor would it have OBD2. But I do agree with what you say about the sohc engines
