guys need help!

on thursday i am going to buy new tires for my 98 gt and i was wondering if i could install 285/40/17 in the rear without making modifications to the car?

My 97 has 315/35/17 on the rear with no mods. You will be fine.

Tbk<Are you still running factory 8x17 rims. It's just a wider tire??
