Are they just cloudy? Use a plastic polish. You can find stuff specifically for headlights which works fine. It's a very light abrasive and should get them clear again.

I just break out the polisher and use a wax/compound.

I completely gave up trying to clean and polish the plastic and went to...
Certifit Online .The headlights are priced out really nice but the tail lights are really high.
I spent half the money wrecking yards and Mustang shops charge for new fixtures and don't waste my time trying to clean the fixture any more. I know there not a real Ford product but who is looking behind the fixture anyways.( I don't work there,I just found them to be a great source for replacement parts)
