1994-2004 V-8 GT, GTS, Bullitt, Mach 1, and Cobra

Gt block with 01 cobra internals??

Gt block with 01 cobra internals??

I have a 01 cobra that broke a rod and ruind the block.Been trying to find a block but dont seem to find one the same for my 01.Being a 4.6, is it the same as the gt??Would it be possible to get a Gt block and just put everything from my Cobra?I dont really know much about engines so anything would help.Thanks

Since the cobra engine is 4V and the GT engine is 2V, some modification is required, but I have seen write ups on 2V to 4V swaps.

Yeah i assumd that 2v would be an issue.I just cant seem to find one for the cobra

The block is the same. You'll need to use the cobra front cover also

So just any 4.6 block then that is easier to find
