Which fuse?
Somebody please save me some time and tell me which fuse is for the cigarette lighter outlet.
Trying to wire switch to footwell neons and I blew the fuse because I am an idiot.
If anyone knows which one it is so I dont have to pull them all I will love you for ever and ever and ever. (not quite).
Come on Scott. I know you know. Dont let me down.

Andy, as you have probably already figured out the location of the fuse is the same in the diagram you posted as in the GT. I doubled checked my manual and it shows the same location, #1 in Passenger Compartment Fuse Box.

Thanks Jason. Figured it out already. Fuse 1 @ 20amp. Do all Mustangs come with the 2nd cigar lighter in the arm/center storage?
Mine had never worked since I bought the car. I wanted a power supply for my interior neons (intead of running from cigar lighter behind shifter-hate to see wires) so I spliced on to the back of lighter. I ran a switch wire into the center storage and wired up the old/broken lighter at the same time. I dont know if anyone knows the answer to this question but why is there a spare socket from the loom underneath the coin holder? I thought it might be for the vert but not too sure.
I had to remove most of the plastic to do this but at least now I know what I need to do when I change my shifter.
Result:
2 cigar lighters
Nice blue glow (with inline fuse)
Insight into shifter replacement
Fuse diagram for future reference
Not a bad deal.

Yes, 12v outlets usually have constant power.. at least in all the fords i've owned. Now I know 2003+ Honda accords and elements dont, and it really pisses me off when you dont have a wall cell phone charger and need to use the one in the car.
