Fuel pump question

Hello all, I need a little help with my fuel system.

I'll start by saying my current cars setup: 98 cobra with stock 4v 4.6 , intercooled v2@6 psi. 42# injectors, 80mm pro flow MAF, stock in tank fuel pump and 190lph out of tank fuel pump (the one that comes with vortech kit), and KB BAP.

I got the car with the cel on (lean on bank 2) thinking it was a simple problem. Well I checked all the possible causes and everything seems to be fine, so I want to retune it to make sure it's not a tuning issue. After talking to a local tuner, he told me that I'm better off swapping both pumps with 255lhp units, and getting rid of the BAP.

My question is, can I just purchase 2 255lhp pumps and put them in the place of the pumps I have now? Also, what's the best choice of pumps to go with? Thank you all in advance!

Is your fuel pressure falling off at wot?
Any changes since your last tune?
What does your afr look like?

No drop, fuel pressure is consistent at 40psi at WOT, and 29 psi at idle. (never run it past 6k rpms).
I've installed an intercooler and a catless h pipe since it was last tuned. No other changes. The car came with a catted x pipe, but when I installed the O/R h, the check engine light did not turn on, could it be that the o2s were turned off ?

I don't have an afr gauge yet... Unfortunately

I cleared the code last night and drove it about 30 miles, I came out this morning and drove it to the gas station (about 3 miles). thankfully it hasn't came back yet

**** really? Could u explain that to me? I'm not doubting you I just don't understand.. Lean means too much air and not enough fuel right? And if I lost a little boost with the intercooler, that would mean I'm getting less air. So if I'm getting less air how is it making it run lean? I'd figure it would make it run rich.

I'm thinking the intercooler is there to cool the compressed air, making it denser allowing more air into the mix. If your fuel values have not changed the end result would be a leaner mix.

I'm no expert, that's just what I'm thinking. An afr guage would be very helpful.

I run a magnuson at 8lbs on my charger and the boost and afr gauges are helpful.

That actually makes a lot of sense when u put it that way. thanks man. i guess its time for a new tune then. Lol.

Yeah I've been wanting to get one. I'm thinking of getting the AEM one.

How's your charger feel with that blower? I've been thinking of getting one for my girls charger. I'm afraid it will make it faster than mine though. Haha
