Front Brakes... :/
Dude you know front end parts/brakes are fast easy money. A grand for brakes is insane. If brakes were so hard to do auto zone would close half their stores. They're almost doubling their money on parts and making AT LEAST $80 per hour. To do something so easy, with a couple of tools and a little bit of know how, dropping that kind of coin is unjustifiable. I mean a thousand dollars on FRONT brakes. It just blows my mind. We have swapped motors WITH parts AND the motor for only a couple hundred bucks more. Granted our labor rate is $48 per hour since we're in a little town but still. Like I said, it wasn't a quote to port his heads, if was for a front brake job. It makes my brain hurt lol.
Wait, and I just realized you said it's a 3-4 hour job.................. Do you guys work blind folded in the dark?!?!??? Lmao

So labor in just that is 300.
Thermo quites are around 80-100 bucks. Rotors 60-70 a piece. Calipers 40-50 a piece. And you cant forget markup. Every company does it.
Id have to see the quote to see if they quoted more than I can think of.

Pretty excited to get them installed tomorrow. I am paying $180 for installation at a shop that's done a lot of work on my car. What do you guys think about the install charge
