The fog lamp switch only switches on the fog lamp relay.
Light Blue/Red = 12+ switch illumination from dash light circuit when parking lamps and headlamps are turned on.
Black = Ground for both switch bulbs, night time switch illumination and fog lamps on indicator.
Brown = 12+ from headlamp switch when turned on to parking lamps or headlamps position.
White/Black= 12V+ switched to activate fog lamp relay.

Hey guys this is my first time to being on this site anyways I was searching for an answer to my fog light dilemma when I came across this discussion. I have an 01 Bullitt I was putting fog lights in and from everything I've heard since it was technically a GT with fogs deleted all the wiring was still there and it was plug and play. Here's the problem I had ordered the lights from eBay and ordered the switch as well plugged it all up and still nothing. When the switch came in it still had the pigtail connector still attached but it had 5 wires where as my connector looked identical to the one above having black, grey, red with blue, and a white with black wires coming into it. The the pig tail had a brown with orange, red with black, lt blue with red, black, and drk blue with white wires in it. The dealer told me it was from a 2001 gt but instead of a dot for the on light it has a crescent shaped light but it fit into the hole for the switch my question is before I go tracking down possible wiring problems would I need to first get a different switch?
