I have a Flowmaster Exhaust system on my car and I love it. However, I want to replace my headers and I was wondering if anyone has a suggestion for a brand name or part that would fit or make it sound better or whatever? thx alot

JBA makes great quality headers. Are you wanting Long Tube or Shorties?

I was wondering if anyone could help me decide what I need or what is good. I was leaning towards shorties perferably becasue someone mentioned the long tubes would make the exhaust sound wierd.

Just curious what exactly are you looking for with the headers(ie;sound,HP,etc.)?? Also, what are your future palns for the car??

Shorties won't yield much HP,maybe 1-3 HP. LT's are better, but don't yield but maybe 10 HP, on a highly modded N/A set up. They are both a PITA to install on a 99+ car, and are quite pricey to install. If you are looking for HP, I'd look for another mod,IMO.

Looking at your mod list, I'd go for a SCT Tune, and Plenum, and/or T/B. You'll pick up more HP, and it would cost about the same, or less.
