Borla cat back will arrive in a couple days. Has anyone removed thr stock exhaust on a 04 Mach 1 without cutting it?

 

Yes, I removed the stock catback on my 2003 Mach1 without cutting it, and this was in garage with two stands and a floor jack. If I recall correctly, I just had to drop the axle a little further by unbolting the lower end of the rear shocks. That catback sat in my garage until a few months ago when I finally sold it. I installed a Borla catback too. It sounded great!

 

yep what he said. Watch the brake lines when you lower your rear axle.

 

Thanks. Did u put the floor jacks in the rear or jack and do one side at a time with floor jack holding axel under pumkin.

I got the borlas on the way as well and don't rlly wanna cut my stocks out in case I sell em. What else besides lowering the axle a bit did u have to do?
