Mac, Spintech and the Super 44 Flowmaster have very deep tones. Magnaflow is decently deep as well, but for me the rasp is too much on them,

 

Do you have an aftermarket mid pipe? That also will make a huge difference.

 

No, it will probally be an o/r x or h soon though. Maybe for christmas... Wich would make the biggest difference? The mid pipe or the cat back?

 

My 2001 GT has Mac long tubes, Mac off road prochamber and Bassani catback. I LOVE this set up. Also my daily driver.

 

I'm pretty much set on the bbk h and the MAC cat back. Plans kinda got put on hold, the brakes need a little attention.. and those are vastly more important.

 

I love my Magnaflow muffler... Great tone not to loud and almost no drone or something.

Relatively smooth/quit in idel and a great louder sound at WOT...

well on my 98 gt i have installed 2.5" x pipe wihtout catalituc converters or resonators and it is very loud and no exhaust for the time but im planing to install magnaflow reproducion wich sound better and cheaper than the original magnaflow exhaust

Slp lm1( loudmouth ones) sound awesome on 4.6 but they are loud if u don't want extremely aggresive sound don't get them but if u wanna loud and a mean loud racking sound there the best. Look them up on YouTube if ya like lm2 is also slp but there a Lil more quite.

Well 4.6 kinda like to rack there kinda deep at idle but mainly rack loud at high rpm but if you haven't heard them get on YouTube and type in slp lm1 and only listen to mustangs and you can decide for yourself I love them, If my stang was 4.6 that's what would be on them.

Update!! Just ordered Mac catback with 3.5 inch tips! Got a good black Friday deal from brenspeed. I will keep y'all up to date and post pictures soon!
