i have been wanting to add a cold air intake to my stock 2000 gt but dont have the money to spend on a MAC or BBK or K&N. so i was wondering how this compared. i mainly want better gas mileage and a deeper sounding tone.

so how does this compare to the name brands and what kind of sound difference will i get? thanks in advance

Not sure of it honestly, never seen one in person. It looks really close to the mac cai though. I'd guess it'd be about the same in performance as long as the quality is decent.
