Good afternoon to all, got a question for you all. I have got a 95 GT and about 2 months ago the e-brake light start to flicker on and off. Then a few weeks ago, it would come on a stay on.

I thought it may be the switch in the center console, so I checked that, and the switched works fine. The e-brake is loose, it as tight as it has been. But I have been noticing where is will come on and go off. It will come on just as I go past 2800 rpm's in 1st and will stay on until I slow down to about 5 or 10 mph it goes off.

A couple months ago, I pulled the alarm control box out of my car and put it back in
I didn't notice it until way after that. I thought I may have pulled a wire loose, but I checked under there last week and I didn't see any loose or broken wires.

Anyone have any ideas of what it could be? Thanks for your help

Same thing happened to me in my '95 v6... then finally my dad took it for a ride and realized that it meant i simply needed some more brake fluid. put some in and it was good to go.
