I've been noticing more and more drivetrain slack in my car (see sig). It's still under warranty, so I may have to go ahead and take it in to the dealer. I was wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem, with any vehicle. If so, what did you/the mechanic/the dealership do about it?

mines got alot of slop/slack/annoying drivetrain noises. I think its a combo of maybe a broken passenger motor mount, worn out tranny mount and just having a spec stage II clutch. It just doesnt like to be smooth like a stock one. Also i think having a stiffer chassis creates some more play in everything else. Like since the subframes stiffned the car up, the uni-body no longer is able to absorb the noice/shock.

Also Kyle, if you are having issues more and more after running the slicks. I'd get under the car and check all the suspension and drivetrain just to make sure the bolts are good and tight. Especially the driveshaft and control arms

I was thinking tranny/engine mounts. If you hear a loud clunk when you slam on the gas from a cruise, you may have a broken mount. Also look for excessive shifter movement.
