driver side seat won't over forward or back

driver side seat won't over forward or back

You can hear the motor working on the seat. Could it be that the seat is just off the track? And if so how can I fix it?

Take the seat out and inspect it. you can take apart the tracks and rails underneath the seats pretty easily.

You remove the seat by 4 bolts mounting it to the floor. Then unplug the motors and look for crud and dirt and stuff on the seat frame. Clean it up and lube with WD-40 on the worm gears. This assumes it is not really off the tracks :-) I fixed mine by lubing only while the seat was still bolted down ( I could see the crud and rust with a flashlight).

You might just have something stuck in the track
