Daytime running light problem!! Please help thanks

Hello I noticed the other day when I turned my car off, my running lights, or my high beams stay on, the cAr is completely shut down, the high beam light on my dash stays on, when the cars running I lift the e break and my lights don't turn off the high bean light stays on but when I turn all my lights on it goes away! And my high beams still work I remove my day time running light fuse from under the good, and the lights turn off, anyone experience this before?

Thanks lol, yea my cars 1996 ford mustang gt, from canada, I hear on all cars you need running lights with certain years I think it was installed in my car cause I do have a drl fuse take it out and my higher beams turn off I'll take a pic soon of my dash with the high beam indicator stuck on while the car is turned off, the lights stay on until I remove the fuse, but while the car is running I lift my e break it doesn't turn then off unless I turn all my lights on, and my high beams still work so I'm confused

There is a daytime running light module I believe in the fender. Mine went last year and i believe that's where it was either there or under the dash

I got mine done at a shop and they found. Used one from northern b.c. I believe for 200$ but they charged me a **** load of labour cause they didn't know exactly the problem.

BrutAl I think I might be able to figure it out, under my steering column there is this black box thing and on one side of it a blue and orange fuse?? Idk what those are but I never took them out and behind my drivers quarter panel there is a box looking thing so I'm puzzled lol would a shop charge to look at it?

Yea they'd charge you an hour of labour which is 125$ where I am. But go into them knowing it's the daytime running light module.

Got this off a website

Re: Daytime running lights on 95 mustang
I'm not positive about the 95 but my 96 had the module for DRL infront of the driver side wheel well. It's accessible from the bottom behind the left fog lamp. And to answer another question, there is actually a Ford shunt that you can install on the DRL Module to kill the DRL's. Let me know if anyone wants the part number.
