My 03 vert has started a creaking noise from the back seat on the passenger side. I can't tell if it's coming from the seat itself or from the area where the top folds into. It only creaks when giving it gas from a dead stop. I've heard stories of everyone's rides creaking at one point or another but I just hit 4,000 miles. It shouldn't be doing this already...should it? Any ideas on what it might be?

mine started "poping" and making noise in the read at 200 miles. Take it in to the dealer. There is a TSB on it.... seems to have made mine better.

Just made an appt for friday to have it checked out. While I'm there I might as well have them fix the 1/4 inch gap between the front/rear driver's side windows,lol...Well,at least it's nothing mechanical going wrong...yet.

My 95 vert makes some minor vert noises, but nothing I can't live. Every open car I've made some sort of noise. No big deal to me.

My 02 top doesn't seem to have any problems like this. The suspension on the other hand, mostly in the rear, has started sqeaking like a mad. Anyone know if this is common? Should I just grease the rear end?

go ahead and invest in a good set of subframes. I highly recommend the kenny brown extreme matrix system. Its well worth the money on a vert.

yeah they are a thin mild steel and wont really help you much. Something beefy like the KB super subs or something similar would rock.
