The whole reason why the 03-04' Cobras are in such demand is because of how bad of a rip-off the GT500 is! When you consider the mark-ups of the GT500, paying 25-30k for a good low mileage Cobra is a bargain. I am glad I pulled the trigger on a deal to get my Cobra I debated for months if I should wait for the GT500 or "settle" for a Cobra and i'm happy I had made the decison to buy my Cobra. I think these people buying GT500s thousands above sticker because of the car's collectibility are making a huge mistake. The GT500 like the 93-04 SVT Cobras will need to be about 30 years old befor they become true classics. If you look at the production numbers for the 2007 GT500 it far exceeds the production of 93-01, 04 SVT Cobras. The 03' Cobra's production is on par with the GT500. I have always thought that the big money muscle cars are the rarest ones. In my opinion 30 years from now a 93' Cobra will be worth more than an 07' GT500. The classic Shelbys, Bosses, Mach 1s that are worth big money is because of the car's rarity not its power output.
