Hey Guys, anyone know what the factory boost should be on a 03 Cobra? I just put a Magna Flow cat back and a K&N cold air kit on and it seems like I lost take off power and I thought the boost gauge was going higher before too. It seems like I might be getting 8lbs of boost. I was going to put the x pipe with cats on but I don't want to sacrifice a lot of bottom end or have running problems. Let me know if anyone had similar running problems/power concerns.

If anything on that car...you'll improve the airflow, and uncork some nice power...

8lbs sounds right for the stock pulley, and obviously depending on how much you hit it, depends on the boost.

Did you reset the computer after doing the mods?
(like disconnect the battery, hit the breaks a couple times...and reconnect?) then take it for a boot to beat the heck outta it

8lbs. is the stock amount. Some say they are able to bury the needle on thier stock stangs (10lbs.) I myself, rarely ever see my boost needle move and at peak its been 6 or 7 lbs.
