Chrome question

I contacted a local chrome shop to get a quote on how much it would cost to have my 2002 Bullitt wheels chrome-plated and they told me that it would be about 800 cnd$ (~575 us$) PER WHEEL.
Then, I saw theses wheel advertised on the net:

It's 850$ for 4 NEW chrome-plated 17 inches Bullitt! (And even cheaper on ebay, like 700$ for 17 inches and 800$ for 18)
So, do anyone know about this compagny, AFS Wheels? Is there a catch with thoses 850$ wheels or is it that I'd pay way too much by chrome-plating my old wheels?

AFS Wheels have been selling replica Ford wheels for years now. I've heard a few bad things here and there, but there are ALOT of people using them due to the price. I would feel pretty safe running their wheels.

two other sources you should check out are Wheelreplicas (17x9 size and 17x10.5):

They are both $800 for a set of Bullitt chromes.
Stangnet's partshopper has 17x8 chrome bullitts for $800 a set too: http://www.partshopper.com/fordmustang/index.asp

There was a thread on SVTPerformance.com last week discussing how all of these aftermarket wheel companies, and many of the car manufacturers, get their wheels from the same foundry in China.

Tirerack.com has Genuine Ford Chrome Bullitt rims for $280 apiece. Are the ones at GEF real or replica? I like the polished ones.
One thing that kind of worries me is that I've seen a lot of chromed aluminum wheels with the chrome peeling off. Actually, chrome and aluminum don't get along too well, being dissimilar metals, and if the prep work isn't done just right, you'll have serious problems with galvanic corrosion. It has something to do with electron layers in the atomic structure, or something. It's been a long time since I took a chemistry class, though.
