That would be great to own, but even for a middle aged man the insurance would be a killer.

Huh . . he says it has A/C and radio. Those didn't come on "R's". I can see installing a radio, but not A/C!!! That doesn't make sense. Or maybe it does . . . . 5.8 Cobra R with A/C would be pretty darn sweet.

No back seats and wind down windows. If this is a fake, they have gone the whole hog to fake it!

Something seems not right about it. Then again it just may be a great deal! Who knows. I would be very wary for that price though and would definetely want to check it out in person.

the mileage doesnt bother me. its still only 36k on a 10+ yr old car. and atleast that one didnt sit and let all the seals and crap rot. and im sure it wasnt hard to add ac. i bet it was wired completely. just didnt have the ac switch compessor and lines. could pick them up at a junk yard for cheap.

Would a new heater core be needed?

First off, I would probably give my... well it's best that I not
say what I would do to own a '95 Cobra R, but needless to say
I would really like to have one.

However, I would want a lot of information concerning the
AC and Radio, as well as the other modifications he has made
to the car, I would really like to have all the original parts
so the car could be returned to stock form.

I understand that it is his car to do with as he pleases, but
it really rubs me the wrong way when someone starts modifying
a car this rare! I know the these cars were intended for racing
all along, but if you were lucky enough to pick one up, why
would you not leave it in stock condition, I would imagine that
it would be worth more if under the discription it said "stock".
Also what's the deal with the fuel cell? Do they not last as long
as a gas tank? Why would it need to be replaced with only
36000 miles on it?

I agree. Sometimes mods can make a car worth more but in this case I would have to say no it would make it worth less. Now say on my 99 35th. Even though it is a special edition and less than 5000 were made some mods would perhaps add a little value. But we're talking about a vehicle with a production run of only 250.

Basically he put 3600 miles on it per year. Not horrible but maybe a little much for the rareness of the vehicle. I only put about 1000-1500 miles on my Mustangs per year.

Honestly if I were to buy an R, I would want the 2000 Cobra R more than the 95. Just my opinion though.

the 00 R is alot better, a 4 cam 5.4 that 95 is worth it IMO, i would buy it for sure.

Andy, your car is limited production, but they wont be worth much more than a normal GT i fear. their isnt much of a demand for them, but the 35th is one of my favorites

Oooooohhhh....5.8L. What more is there to say?

By the way Doug, the '00 was a 2 cam, with 4 valves per cylinder, not a 4 cam.

Jim-

DOHC=4 cams, 2 cams per head

SOHC=2 cams, 1 per head

Just to let you know. Which you probably already knew . . maybe just a brain freeze . . which I seem to be having quite often as of late.
