Cats

Would I need to buy new exhaust or could i just cut the cats out? Would I run into any problems? They don't test for emissions here so I'm good on that part.

The only problem that you will run into is the check engine light. Either a set of mil eliminators or a tune should take care of it.

I have the flowmaster 44 cat backs. Would I need to get new exhaust if I got new mid pipes?

H has a more muscle car sound. X is more raspy racecar sound. X also has slightly better performance. Nothing noticeable though.

The X is supposed to flow a little better but honestly the H sounds a lot better. IMO.

H pipes it is! Now I been looking at it seems like I don't have much of an option on h pipes for a cobra.
