Caster Camber Plates
#1
Well I put lowing springs on about 2 months or so ago and my tires are now like so /----\ (with the slash marks representing the angle of my tires ) but not that extreme :P
My question is that I thought I was informed that caster camber plates will fix the /----\ problem. If it does, is it an easy installation or would it be wiser to send it off to a shop to do it?

I dont think they are supposed to be dificult with a general mechanical know how. I would try to find an article in one of the ford mags like MM&FF that walks you through the install. From there determine if you have the skills/tools required.

It is not hard to install. Takes some mechanical know how. If you installed your springs, you can install CC plates. If you are staying with the normal spring/seperate strut config, i highly recommend the Kenny Brown CC plates. If you are going to eventually go with coil overs, you will want the 4th bolt style CC plate available through Maximum motorsports or Griggs racing.

Well I finally got some spare money to get the CC plates and I since the KennyBrown.com site is under construction I cant see how much they sell their CC kits for. I found this though:
http://www.v8power.com/item--Kenny-Brown-C...--KBP49041.html
Is that the CC kit that Scothew mentioned above?
Also, I've been told that Steeda has good CC plates. Given the price difference in the two (a little under 50 bucks from what I can tell at various sites.) which would be a better choice to go with? I wont be installing these myself for fear of me screwing something up lol so Im taking it to a shop.
I also have one other question brewing. What is a good brand shock/strut combo to go with my Eibach sportline springs?

It doesn't say that the kit will fit the 2005 Mustang so be careful when ordering.

I have heard that steeda makes great suspension parts such as c/c plates, sway bars, and control arms. Just shop around and find a good deal.

There is another alternative to CC plates if money is tight, I was
a little sceptable at first, but I've been running them for 6 or 7
years now with no problems. Basically it's a bolt that is oblonged
rather than round (similar to the a lobe on a camshaft). Anyway
it replaces one of the bolts where the front strut attaches to control
arm (right behind the front tire). Rotating the bolt adjusts the
camber on the front tires.

Although my younger brother and my father each have an 05 v6

basically my budget I plan for this is about 200 or less. Im not sure about that oblonged bolt trick. Sounds interesting, but as of right now, I think a CC plate would benefit me more... I guess O.o

I'm trying to figure out which Eibach springs are the right ones for the 04GT. 3510's or 3530's. I didn't have C/C plates with my springs on my 97GT and didn't notice any problems. They were on for over 24,000 miles.
