cam you help me?

Hi everyone. I'm new to the Mustang scene and need some advice. I would like a good street camshaft to use on my 5.0L, if possible one that can be used with the stock torque converter.

As far as I've heard the "best" (to be honest I don't know how they measured "best") camshaft is Steeda's #19. It will work without a tune, but if you want to go the tuning route, that opens many more doors.

What tune do you mean; Injectors, MAF, fuel pump or engine components like intake manifold and heads? My car already has a CAI, MSD tfi coil with new plugs, wires cap & rotor and 40 series Flowmasters (2 1/4)

Computer tune, some 94-95 mustangs (not all of them) won't idle correctly with any cam other than stock. I was one of the lucky one's mine did idle correctly but I got the tune anyway to get the best performance, but that was long ago before I completely pulled the motor and went all out

Steeda's #19 cam was made for our ultra sensitive computers, and supposedly is still pretty good.

Ok. Where can I find a good deal on the Steeda cam, because Steeda parts are expensive i am told, or if there a similar cam from another company like Crane or Comp cams?

I checked the Ford racing cams on SUMMIT Racing and they're about $169. What's the difference btw the E303 and the B303? Do I need new lifters too? I don't know about these engines but with Chevy's you need to put new lifters with the camshaft or it will wear out prematurely.

as long as the motor is low milage it's not a manditory to replace the lifters or the valve springs unless you go to wild with the cam choice, but if the motor has over 80k miles the valve springs and lifters need to be replaced
