can someone please help an idiot.
Im trying to pick a cam i was going to go with a cam from steeda (the only one they do for a 94) but then i looked at the pms system from anderson ford which if ive got this right would enable me to run a wider choice of cams (as 94 are apparently funny when it comes to cam changes)
Anyway i just dont understand the figures involved in cams the revrange is pretty self explanetary but i dont understand the rest i also dont understand why some cam kits come with lifters and some come with timing chains etc, can any one help as this is driving me completely insane, everytime i speak to someone they give me a different answer and now im really confused
many thanks in advance just so you know the car will be street strip and and will eventually be suercharged other mods will include pms, upgrade mas airflow, throttle body, 165cc heads (not sure which ones)
30lb injectors, 255 pump, pulley kit, cold air intake (already done) and 4.10 gears please please help im going dolally here

I think the numbers will make more sense to you once you completely understand how a cam works. I read through this and it helped me quite a bit. Also, talk to a performance shop or whomever is going to do your install, they will be able to help you make your best choice in which cam to get for your application. Also Steeda may be able to help you as they have good customer service. Summit Racing.com also deals specifically with performance parts and might could help you.
