he will prob want a catback with a 2 or 3 chamber muffler. Would give him a good deep sound without being super loud like stingers or loudmouth.

Flowmasters usually sound good.

go on you tube and search for some different catbacks like flowmaster and such. you can usually find quite a few and maybe have him watch them to see what sound he likes.

Also flowmasters wesite i beleive has sound clips of the different cat backs they offer.

I like both Flowmaster and magnaflows but I get tired of flowmasters, when every kid with a camero to a Z-71 has em I perfer to hear a MangaFlow. Put them on my truck and I love em. I would also recomend SLP Loudmouth pending on what you want to spend but they make a Stock 4.6 Talk some shi*. They just sound mean. good luck

Also wanted to mention, Strait pipes are super annoying and dynomax mufflers are to stay away from. their junk. good luck

car looks nice!

although I do have a 4 valve, I have a bassani x pipe, and a magnaflow catback, and I loove the sound of that combo. I would take magnaflow's over flowmasters anyday.

I would say get a catted x pipe with a magnaflow catback....

I have a 95 GT Conv. I have had many different ones! When I bought it had no mufflers, I wouldn't recommend that! I had 40 Series Flows, I liked that probably the best! I went with a side exit system so I had IMCO Racing Mufflers, I thought it sounded OK but I heard it was raspy! I found a Borla system with SVO side skirts! I wanted that from the get go. I like it, it just is not as ferocious as the FMs. It is OK @ WOT, but not too loud @ idle! You really have many to choose from! I hope he likes what he chooses!
