Best mufflers for 94 Mustsng Gt?

Hey I'm new here and don't really know how this works but I'll give it a shot.

Ok so I got a 94 mustang V8 and am looking for the right mufflers for it. Something loud but not crazy loud.
I also live in California if that does anything
Any suggestions?

Most of the 5.0s run flow masters with an off-road H. That's what I would do.

Flowmasters suck, I would look at the Magnaflow Magnapacks, Pypes M80s, or SLP LM2s. They give a nice deep tone and are fairly quiet at cruising speed, but when you give it the gas they get a good bit louder.

No state will allow off road pipes, they are 50 state illegal because you are removing the cats. Some states just don't have emissions so they don't check for them.

That's what I meant. I don't have inspections where I live which is a good thing lol.
I forgot about SLPs. I personally run the 1s on my 2000 GT and they sound good on the 5.0s also

Yeah the ones sound like crap which is why I recommended the lm2s.

If you want loudness, but horrible tone then the lm1s are the way to go.

I have the Magnaflows on my 03 Cobra and an off-road X pipe. They have a nice low rumble at idle but, when you put your foot into it, they get LOUD.

Everybody has their opinions lol. What I would do, if you don't have emissions testing anyway, is buy an off road H or X midpipe and try it out with the mufflers you have already. Midpipes are cheaper than cat back setups. If you like the sound, then you just saved some money for something else. it's hard to make a pushrod 302 sound bad really, so it's worth a try.
