it is a fairly low velocity intake, so it should be a little less peppy off the line, but should help it breathe above 3k or so.

I have same part on mine. Only thing I noticed was a little whistling when accelerating hard. Do you have a tuner?

Not sure if that will help your problem, but you may benefit from getting a tuner either way.

It all depends on your plans. If that is your plans though, I'd be glad to take it off your hands.

Like All the other comments, 78mm is pretty big unless your car has a power adder. A tuner is pretty much a must...it will waken the car up pretty good with the supporting mods you have.

78mm is a bit big for a mostly stock 4.6L. I've seen some test data and it really does not make much sense to go much bigger than 70mm. Now if you had ported heads, and a big set of cams, you would be able to take advantage of such a large TB. Also, like others have said, F/I would also benefit from a large TB as well.

Believe me when I tell you that installing a larger throttle body. You don't see a big jump on the horse power. I've installed over $6000.00 in upgrades on my 2003 GT 4.6 2v. My Dyno #'s are 270rwhp , and 312 torque. I was expecting at the least 300rwhp.
