my 98 cobra runs like a scalded ape when it is stone cold, but after it starts to warm up it misses under hard acceleration above 2500 rpm. I have changed plugs, installed new screaming demon coil packs and gapped the new autolite platinum plugs to .065 gap as stated in the directions. the wires are new looking msd 9.5 mm. has anyone ran into this same problem?

next payday I am going to buy new ford racing 9 mm wires but I don't think it will change anything.

ok when I put the bbk h pipe on it I put in the 02 deletes don't know how old anything is as I just bought the car 3 months ago and can't contact previous owner as I bought it at a lot.
I put the plug wires on it yesterday afternoon and no change. the tps is at .996-4.8 volts and smooth through out the full range of throttle plates. the plugs that came out were ngk platinums and looked almost new. I will try cleaning the mass airflow this weekend. fuel filter and fuel pump are new after that I am lost

That is the next thing I would try too.

 

Is your car tuned by chance?? If so my old 98 had a similar problem after I had a tune for it.
