Lucky you live in Texas, but more and more states are adopting the California emissions standards. Here in MA a an o/r pipe is illegal, in fact a lot of the newer cars can even get a legal cold air kit.

 

My plan; keep the old catted h-pipe just in case my shop won't pass it, Wich they should my family has used them for 10+ years. The fun of living in an emission restrictive state.

 

If your keeping up with 3vs, your car is a freak! Those early 4.6 Cobras are usually 14 sec. cars a stock 05 GT is an easy mid 13 second ride

If you lower it enough they can't get under to look at it

 

Mine has a 2001 cobra engine it it with 3.73 gears, and a lot of small things.

 

Sweet, my dream car in high school was a yellow 98 Cobra. Still one of my favorite Mustangs of all time.

 

Lol I'm 16 and I drive my dream car every day, worked my butt off to get it too.

 

Wish I was like you, my dream car changes with every new GT500.... I think a 2011 GT500 would satisfy me for a long time

I got my 97 GT when I was 17, still have it all these years later. Working for your car gives you a special appreciation that never goes away....I've owned mine for about 13 years now lol

 

I'm 20 with 4 vehicles... I need to slow down lol. At the rate I'm going I'm gonna need my own parking garage

 

I hope to keep mine for a long long time aswell. Every one at my school gets new cars handed to them. But guess what? Mines always the cleanest, i take care of it good because it was my sweat and blood to get it. Lol. I even got the furthest parking spot they had so I wouldn't have any jack wagons parking next to me.

 

Same here... My parents have never paid for my cars.

first one is my most recent. got it for free on craigslist. 1989 honda prelude 2.0si. second is my 1997 cobra. third is my first vehicle. its a 2001 silverado 4.8l v8. and lastly is my 1967 chevy c10 283ci with three on the tree that my grandfather handed down to me to restore
