I have a 95 Mustang that I purchased Nov of last year. I did some top end work that included new head gaskets, intake gaskets, throttle body, and mass air flow sensor. It has a 347 stroker crate motor and a V-2 Vortec supercharger. I was at the Dyno with a local company to check the tuning on the chip before i drove it much to ensure I was not going cause any new problems. We could not get the car to run with a proper air to fuel ratio. Not at idle or at wide open throttle. No matter what tune we put in the car did not seem to change the ratios. It has the W4HO ECU in it but it also says reman on it as in remanufactured I assume. We are thinking the ECU may be the problem. When I looked up my vin # it showed the car coming with a 4.6 L motor but I also see many other things showing some with 5.0L motors. Any one with some experience with this or any input would be greatly appeciated. Thanks Matt

 

Interesting . . . never heard or seen of a '95 with a 4.6L, and your WH40 is for the 5.0L, what year in 1995 was your car produced?

 

I assum you are asking for what month. I'm not sure of that. When I looked up the Vin the site it only showed options for different 4.6 liter motors.

 

Yes, month . . . there should be a build date on the tag inside of the drivers door, if memory serves.
