95 GT Whats fair price?
Hey everyone. I've been in the market for a nice 94/95 GT and I finally found one thats near where I live in West Virginia. The car is a 95 and has 102,000 miles, has a newer paint job, painted back the original color, aftermarekt hood, underdrive pullies, flowmaster exhuast, and in pretty good shape. The body is really nice accept for a paint chip on the hood, some small chips from being drove normally on the highway, and some paint is coming off the bumper in front of the passenger side fog light. The interior is perfect, black cloth, oh and the body is a blue color, not sure of which one since there were 2 different ones in 95. The only thing machanical that it needs is a gasket on one of the headers, either that or it needs tightened up, thats what I was told by the seller. The price is $5500. Is that to much or a good price? Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.
Red Star is right, u can always lower it a bit(say $4500 cuz of paint damage) and meet have way. people like cash . exlpain a little to him that u'd have to get the car looked at to see if it needs work cuz blah blah blah. he can drop it off but give them ur info. maybe give him a refundable $100 w/ a sign note. then take it to a local paint shop and see if the paint is gonna need repaint after a bad winter w/ those spots u mentioned. of course go to a mechanic shop also. some ideas. g/l.

Car sold for $5500. Very surprising to me actually. Thanks for the comments everyone.

Good to know. I have a '95 GTS with Edelbrock heads, TKO trans, Steeda/Bilstein suspension, Cobra R wheels, etc... and I am hoping to get $6500 for mine. It does have 130,000 miles on it. These cars hold up very well. No oil use, and no rattles. I never thought about getting a newer car until I saw the 2005 Mustang.
I plan on getting a '06 GT. I hope it holds up as well.
