95 GT Manual Transmission fluid

how much fluid should be in a 1995 T5 transmission? I think I'm going to chage it anyways. How much and what kind should I use? Thank-you!

It should take 5.5 pints, which is about 2.75 quarts according to Amsoil website. It should also take any synthetic automatic tranny fluid. I know, auto fluid in a manual, but that is what it is designed for and recommended by Ford.

Any good quality synthetic fluid like Mobil1 or Amsoil should be good.

If you are wanting a good alternative to the high priced Mobil1 or Amsoil, consider the Motorcraft stuff as well. It is very good quality and very reasonably priced.

Thank-you very much. I plan on changing it this weekend. Wish I had known this when I installed my MGW shifter heard it easier that way.
