I've have a 95 Convertible GT for the last 17 years. It only has 51K on it, and never been hit. Starting about two years ago my passenger window was raising too high, and "caught" the convertible top when I closed the door. Now it is happening on the driver side as well. I thought this was a window or door adjustment, so I brought to to a friend of mine who owns a body shop. His employee could not fix the problem. I'm wondering if this requires and adjustment to the convertible top and is not a door or window issue at all. If anyone has had this problem, please give me some insight into how I can fix it. thanks.

Have you considered the window regulator? Maybe it's just not stopping it
