I was going to replace my 40th Anniversary tags with the previous years' GT badge, but I decided against it. Now, I'm seeing some 'stangs with a badge that says "4.6L" in red letters and it looks really snazzy. Can someone link me to the site that sells them?

Thanks a lot!

thanks for the help! i'll just write the site down and keep checking it from time to time. i'm sure it'll come back up soon.

i always feel so noob-ish for asking where to get these parts... i wish there was one really great mustang part distributor that had all of this stuff in a single location.

No need to feel bad about asking for links to find cool places to get stuff for your Mustang...it's the best way to find out the best places to get stuff for your car.

As far as the "4.6" emblems, try www.ageclassic.com ... they got 'em for 11 bucks each. Just look under the "emblems" link on the right hand side column, then on the next page click on "emblems" again on the left side, then "other emblems". Scroll down and you should be able to find them just fine. I have one of the 4.6 emblems on the back of my 2003 GT, I put it on in place of the Ford blue oval on the decklid...looks sweet!

Could you post or send me a picture? I'm just woried about the reds clashing. That'd be great cause you have the best color in the world for a Mustang as well.

Ebay has tons of 4.6L and other OEM badges at MUCH lower prices than online retailers.

A little history on these badges:

The 4.6L badge was originally issued on 8s following the conversion to the modular engine in 1996 (taking the place of the old 5.0 badges). Ford stopped putting them on the cars after the "new edge" refresh in 1999. Many owners had complained that the 4.6L badge was too small and hard to see forward of the doors. Owners were also displeased with the lack of badging on the rear of the car, so Ford added the single GT badge to the left side 1999-2004.

Personally-the 40th badge is a bit big, but its so unique and special I am proud it adorns my Pony. If you have one, consider yourself fortunate.
