2005 - 2006 Ford Mustang GT Engine & Transmission into 1998 Ford Mustang GT

Hello,

I have a 1998 Ford Mustang GT with automatic transmission and wish to replace my engine and transmission with a 2005-06 Ford Mustang GT engine with automatic transmission. Does anybody know how this can be done or suggest any websites with information for doing this? Thanks.

I can't say ive seen or heard of anyone swapping it over. I can guess your pretty much going to have to replace all of the fuel lines and wiring harness to make it work correctly, including computer electronic censors.

STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL JK, just be prepared for the pain of tuning everytime you add a major mod like the CMCV delete plates or CAI, you could probly score a GT500 motor for a bit more (10k-13k) and that thing will handle almost any poweradder
