2004 Mystichrome, Built Motor, Single Turbo, 9", TH400, E85 Street Car "BUILD THREAD"
Trying, it looks(and we did) make a lot of progress just STILL have a ton. The little stuff is going to eat up all of the time.
Battery in the trunk, re wire the wide bands, injector clips, TB plug, boost controller, mount the shifter, wire gauges.....we will keep the wheel to the stone and see what we come up with.

I am starting on day 3 on a Kenne Bell S/C kit, and I hear you, its all about the details.
I probably have a full 8+ hours today before I am done. Hopeful it wont spill into tomorrow.
I have 24 hours into it, with 6-8 to go, and 17 of those hours so far have been on the wiring, vacuum system, PCV system, intercooler...etc., and xo on.
I admire you guys for attacking a from scratch build...true hot rodding!

We got more work chipped away. Getting close to a mid week fire up if we can find a tuner to scale the injectors.
Got the cross member and DS in.



How Sunday ended.
It's been a long road, we are getting down to the final nitty gritty end. This weekend will be our "zero hour" as we NEED a tuned to even start the car as the injectors are so big it'll wash the motor.

Got the intake, MAF, trans cooler under pass. headlight, oil re-locate under driver headlight.
Tonight some wiring needs to be done, fender liners go in, fab a bumper support, put the bumper on, fluids go in....check everything over. Then maybe fire it up Wednesday night, the tuner said the car will be fine to IDLE with the injectors that are in it.

After a LONG 12 hour Saturday, a lot of curse words it's running!
Still have to hook nitrous up, boost controller, clean up some stuff, tighten things but it looks like things are looking up with 11 days to go, we have maybe another few hours tightening everything and checking.

The turbo is only rated for that, the car may break 1100 on the nitrous....but 1250 seems high to me.
The old setup made 756rwhp, if this car made(not a shot at anyone) less then 800 it will be a complete failure IMO.
The "plan" is 1000rwhp(give or take) and 8.99 or better in the 1/4 mile.
